Stoneware Vase
Sleek, organic comfort for your mindful living space.
Intended for the Mindful Household
Our work is divided into three distinct forms. From table to shelf, find the perfect ceramic piece that resonates with your space.
THE STUDIO PROCESS
Designed for the Mindful Home
Every piece begins as raw stoneware from the mountains of Shigaraki. Hand-thrown, trimmed, and fired twice to ensure durability that lasts generations.
STEP 01
We start with raw stoneware clay from Shigaraki, aged for 6 months to enhance plasticity and eliminate air pockets.
Density: High
Aging: 6 Months
STEP 02
Each piece is thrown on a kick wheel, allowing slight imperfections that make the object unique. No molds, just the dialogue between hand & clay.
Technique: Hand-Thrown
Tool: Kick Wheel
STEP 03
The vessels undergo a dual-firing process. First a bisque fire, followed by a high-temperature glaze fire that vitrifies the clay into stone.
Temp: 1280°C
Duration: 72 Hours

Finding Stillness in a Chaotic World
“I do not force the clay into shape. I listen to it. The most beautiful forms are those that emerge naturally from the earth.”
Founded by Takeshi Yamamoto, our studio is dedicated to the preservation of traditional Japanese pottery techniques. Rejecting mass production, Takeshi spends days trimming a single bowl, ensuring that the final object holds the warmth of the human hand.
01. MATERIALITY
Using only 100% organic stoneware clay from the Shigaraki mountains.
02. LONGEVITY
